Bluebell is a watercolour of bluebells and forget-me-nots hanging from the top of the card like wisteria, longest at the sides, and your names written large in Parisienne in the open space under them, a small “and” between. The details are set in a soft serif, three painted dots between the parts. The reply card asks “Something blue?” beside a sprig of forget-me-nots, every guest’s name has a single bluebell beside it, the table numbers and the menu hang under a short fringe of bells, and every sign wears the fringe. With a photograph, the picture sits under the bells in an oval with a soft watercolour edge. Blue on warm white, lilac, white bells on sage, or deep ink blue.
