Cerise cuts two big cherries from coloured paper and hangs them on one stem, a leaf off the knot and a little highlight cut from each, and letters one of your first names inside each cherry by hand. On the save the date they are most of the card, the date in small bold capitals under them and the place lettered beneath. The invitation hangs them at its head, a single cherry signs the reply card and the place cards, and every table number is lettered inside one big cherry. With a photograph, the picture is cut to a cherry with a little red one hanging beside it. Cherry red on pink, on cream or on butter, or pink cherries on red.
