Ikebana is a photograph of one dried branch in a cream stoneware vessel, standing at the edge of a limewash wall in late light, its shadow reaching long across the wall. Everything else is empty space, and your names sit small and high in it, in a fine display serif, the details in tiny spaced capitals. In sand, paper, clay and moss limewash, or ink, the same wall at night. With your photograph, it is a small print leaning on the ledge beside the vessel.
