Kintsugi is the old art of mending broken porcelain with gold, so the piece is whole again and stronger at the join. Your card is a photograph of bone porcelain crossed by one seam that branches once, and the seam is pressed in raised gold foil exactly where the gold lies in the picture, so it catches the light in the hand. Your names sit small and generous in the calm porcelain below it. On the invitation the seam runs between your two names. With a photograph, your picture is the shard above the seam, closed in gold. Bone, celadon, raku, blush or indigo glaze.
