Knot is two satin ribbons, painted for us: a red one running in from the left edge of the card and a pink one from the right, tied together in one bow in the middle, two tails hanging from the knot. Your first names run along the ribbons, one on each arm, printed in the ribbon’s own ink, and under the bow the card says that you are tying the knot. The reply card is a blank gift tag on a ribbon with “Kindly reply” written on it, every guest’s place card has a little bow beside their name, the table numbers are written on big gift tags and the menu has a long ribbon tied across its head. With a photograph, the picture sits in a rounded frame under the bow. Cherry red and pink as painted, or the same ribbons in powder blue and ivory, sage and butter, or black and white.
