Lasso draws a wavy frame by hand round the card and ties a little bow at its top, then leaves a great deal of paper inside it: your first names in a loose script, and the details in small italic capitals, widely spaced. It prints on a scalloped die cut whose edge answers the wave, and the frame follows onto every piece, round a guest’s name on the place card and down the menu. With a photograph, the picture sits inside the frame, cut to its wave. Ink black on white, red on blush, navy on cream, or green on butter.
