Ribbon borrows the printed satin ribbons tied round bouquets and favours: a long ribbon loops across the top of the card in one loose S, turning over where it doubles back, and ties in a small bow, with your first names and the date printed along it over and over in small italic capitals. The wording sits calm below, your names in a soft italic. Every ribbon lies a little differently, and every piece has a length of it tied across its head, printed with its word. With a photograph, the ribbon loops over the picture’s corner and ties its bow on the paper. Cherry on cream, powder blue on white, sage on oat, black on blush, or butter on chocolate.
