Trinket is a chunky gold charm bracelet painted for us, laid in a heart with its round clasp at the top and enamel charms hung all round it: a pink heart locket, cherries, a blue bow, a dove, a little key, a lemon, a rose, a bottle of champagne and a star. Your first names sit inside the heart with a small italic ampersand between them, the date on a line at its point. The reply card asks “Will you be there?” beside an open locket with your initials in its two windows, every guest’s place card has a heart charm beside their name, the table numbers are written on big heart charms, and a fine chain hung with charms runs across the menu and every sign. With a photograph, the picture fills the heart. Gold on pink or on cream, silver on powder blue, or gold on black.
