Located at 201 4th St., the historic Village Hall was built in the late 1930s as a WPA project and is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The venue holds national significance as a site where Senator Hubert H. Humphrey delivered several speeches during his presidential campaign. Locally, it is cherished for its legacy of lively big band dances and countless wedding receptions since opening in 1940. Today, Village Hall continues to host weddings, anniversary celebrations, family reunions, fundraisers, and a variety of special gatherings.
