Built in 1936 by the Olson family as a dairy barn, The Hitching Post was once known as the “Cadillac of barns.” Warren and Delores Johnson later operated it as a dairy farm until 1986. Owner Todd Arntson purchased the property in 1996 and used it for storage until 2014, when a family friend requested to host a wedding reception there. Inspired by the barn’s beauty, renovations began and The Hitching Post wedding venue was created.
